OK:

Australia by 12
All Black by 25
South Africa by 20
Argentina by 8 to 10

I think Scotland are the only prospect of an upset. My reasoning is that they are very good at dragging opposition to their level and will feel no inclination to try and play an expansive game against the Argies. They did this to ourselves and Wales earlier this year and gave the French an awful fright. At last the Argies will be playing against a real backrow and a pretty solid aggressive tight five. Neither side creates much so it will be field position over all else and try to force penalties. Scotland have a decent chance of winning a low scoring game. Anything beyond 25 points will be beyond them.

This is tricky. I haven't watched any NZ or Aus game because the results were too obvious in advance, so ...

Aus - Eng : England's blunt attack means no tries, but most kickable penalties should go over. Ozzies should get 3-4 tries, but England may succeeed in strangling the game a bit. Lets say they do...

Aus 23 England 15.

NZ - France.

NZ are as good as everyone fears. France are not great. 6 tries to 2 in this one.

NZ 39 Fr 18.

Arg - Sco :
3 tries plus lots of kicks vs 5 out of 5 pens for Patterson.

Arg 34 Sco 15

Boks v Fiji

If the Boks are as good as I think they are they'll sew this one up early, and take the foot off the gas in the 2nd half.

SA 42 Fiji 12

I'll be dusting off my NZ passport, practicing the new Kapa o Pango haka and supporting the all-blacks from here.

Check out Chabal in this must-see haka clip:

A lone dissenter

Aus v Eng
Aussie scrum to resemble a learner driver on a hill start. Uncertainty will spread and Wilco's boot will kick Eng to a boring 9 point win. 22-13.

NZ v Fr
With Michalak withdrawn this is going to be about the huge French boots - I see them playing an Argie game and scraping through by 4. 19-15.

SA by 40.

Arg by 20.

Vive la France.
