Chris Rattue is a winging disgrace in the NZ herald. Some of the all blacks had to fly back in economy because they had their flights booked for 2 weeks later, that is the reality, they had their worst world cup ever.

I was listening to 5live yesterday, an excellent evening of interviews with many of the greats of past rugby world cups. The rant that you mention was actually read out and it was childishly embarrassing especially coming after we had just heard from Francois Piennar on how emotional he felt on realizing than Nelson Mandela was wearing, not only a Springbok shirt, but his number 6. Unfortunately, much as I love New Zealand, it is so insular that this sort of stuff is totally accepted, lapped up almost. One thing that is beginning to annoy me was is how much is being spoken of Jonny Wilkinson, it is verging on the ridiculous in the media over here. In fact, I have even heard some English players berating the media for all the coverage that Wilkinson is getting at the expense of the rest of the players, Worlsey for instance, and what about wiley old Mike Catt. Bring on the final. I am looking forward to a tense, tight game. I would like to see England win, coming from zero to champions is the stuff of dreams, no matter if it is the current world champions we are talking about, or teams like Cameroon in the 90 world cup. However, I think it is South Africas to lose.

It's hard to see habana not getting in for a try...I think south africa should win but somehow England will do it...I'm on their side too. Catt & Robinson have one big game left. Come on England!
