Poor Fagan...I actually feel sorry for him, the way that story is told. He's essentially saying "I was depressed...my career's over and I don't care".

He was a top level athlete...he has put some seriously gruelling effort into running all his life until now...and now he just throws it away.

Hope things turn out alright for him in life...his running career seems to be finished.
